Electronics Technician

My client is a specialist manufacturer of products that are used within the defence sector and they are seeking an Electronics Technician to join their team. As an Electronics Technician with a quality focus, you will review & test PCBs, ensure that all supporting documentation is completed correctly, ensuring that the products meets industry standards and resolve any quality issues that may occur.

Responsibilities:

• Check and test completed PCBs
• Ensure that all soldering standards of IPC are met
• Ensure that products meets industry standards
• Produce all required supporting documentation for each device
• Fault find and resolve any quality related issues that might occur
• Provide technical support to operators and engineers

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with electronics manufacturing
• Understanding of IPC & IPC is essential
• Attention to detail is key for this position
• Quality inspecting experience would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills are essential
