Head Receptionist

Head Receptionist. Fine Dining Restaurant, New Opening. Wednesday to Saturday. Kings Cross.

The Megaro Collection is welcoming its newest addition, Voyage with Adam Simmonds. Our Scandinavian Fine Dining restaurant located in the heart of Kings Cross will open its doors in January 2025, extending an invitation to all patrons to explore the culinary prowess of our Chef Patron Adam Simmonds.

We are seeking an experienced Head Receptionist with a minimum of 1 year experience to join Chef Adam Simmonds on this new adventure.

The ideal Head Receptionist will:

1. Have excellent communication skills.
2. Be an expert in conversing in Business English.
3. Be IT literate.
4. Have professional phone etiquette.
5. Be experienced with reservations systems, ideally Seven Rooms.
6. Have bags of charisma and enthusiasm.
7. Maintain a calm and professional demeanour.

The Head Receptionist will:

1. Work 4 days a week (Wednesday-Saturday).
2. Greet and welcome guests in a professional manner.
3. Manage reservations, efficiently allocate tables and seat guests.
4. Answer phone calls in a professional manner.
5. Be responsible for organising and storing menus.
6. Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
7. Assist with coat checks and handling any special requests.
8. Ensure effective communication with the floor and kitchen staff.
9. Uphold the highest of standards, ensuring that consistency is maintained at all times.
10. Be immaculately presented and will follow company grooming standards.
11. Maintain an immaculate presentation at all times.
