Assistant Property Manager- City of London- Mon- Fri- £28,000- £30,000

Job Title: Assistant Property Manager

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00- 18:00.

My client, a boutique property development company, is looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join the close-knit team in the City of London, helping to look after a portfolio of properties, both AST residential and commercial mixed-use buildings. This is a great opportunity to get exposure, training, and support!

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with daily maintenance including complex maintenance and urgent works in a competent, timely manner, understanding the process of a freeholder, leaseholder, and building management responsibility.
  • Arranging inventories, check-ins and check-outs, and conducting property inspections.
  • Advising utility companies of meter readings and void period bills.
  • Coordinating estimates and arranging repairs with contractors, liaising between landlords and tenants, and troubleshooting where applicable.
  • Proposing and negotiating deposits between landlords and tenants, understanding the rebuttal process.

Must have:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and punctual.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • A keen problem solver.
  • Client-facing.
  • Strong administration and excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with landlords.
