As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will support the Corporate Business Services Record to Report (R2R) Manager and colleagues in the R2R team and wider Finance Centre of Excellence and Corporate Finance teams. You will be responsible and accountable for contributing to the production of accurate and timely management accounts and the integrity of the balance sheet accounting.

Job Description

Your role as Assistant Management Accountant

  • Production of the monthly accounts for the respective cost centres and balance sheet areas and highlighting where there are areas of concern.
  • Ensure all transactions are checked and highlighted for variances against budget.
  • Ensure that all journals are well documented and understood before posting.
  • Management of the respective balance sheet accounts and cost centres and identifying and correcting any anomalies in the accounts.
  • Working with the auditors and finance teams to ensure we are audit-compliant.
  • Identify areas of continual improvement, especially around process automation and reporting standardisation that can save time and improve awareness.

  • Strong maths and English grades.
