Job description

Foreman – Civils

Salary: £350 per day
Location: Kings Lynn
Region: Norfolk

Pinnacle Recruitment are looking for a Foreman for a 6 month project in Kings Lynn.

Start date: ASAP

Hours: Mon to Fri 7am to 6pm

Day rate: £350 per day

You will be responsible for delivering the day to day site based activities of a couple of teams that are undertaking dredging on the drain from floating pontoons and depositing arisings on the bankside.

Specifically:

  1. Maintaining a good working environment on site, to encourage feedback and ideas from all personnel on site and instill a good work ethic.
  2. Understand the responsibilities of operatives and ensure that they are managed effectively.
  3. Carry out works in a safe manner in accordance with RAMS and as required under the contract. Reporting any near misses, incidents, positive improvements. Keep records of daily activities and issues.
  4. Ensure team work efficiently and productively, minimising wasted time, effort and resource.
  5. Understand the programme and what is to be delivered on a daily basis. Look ahead to mitigate delays.
  6. Be able to recognise works that are not within the original contract scope.
