  • Payroll Migration & System Transition:

  • Overseeing the pension provider consolidation from four providers to one.
  • Post-Implementation Responsibilities:
  • Running a simplified payroll process once UKG is fully implemented.
  • Conducting payroll gap analysis, compliance checks, and audits.
  • Managing payroll reporting – headcounts, starters, leavers analysis.
  • Handling P11D administration for the company car fleet.
  • Collaborating with the finance team to validate general ledger entries.
  • Monitoring and reporting on payroll-related KPIs in relation to budgets.
  • Analysing pay rises and bonus structures.
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll-related legislation, audits, and reporting requirements.
  • Understanding and managing share schemes through payroll.
  • Overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes (including DBS checks, Right to Work documentation, and employee file management).

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in payroll migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of payroll compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience with UKG payroll systems is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to work with multiple brands and stakeholders across the business.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-growing, acquisition-heavy environment with evolving processes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business and play a pivotal role in standardising and optimising payroll operations across multiple brands. The role will be hands-on initially, with an opportunity to transition into a more strategic and streamlined function post-migration.
