My client, a global law firm, is urgently recruiting for an experienced Risk & Compliance Officer to join them on a 12 month FTC (maternity cover) - working in their London office.

With offices across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia - this firm is a sector focused global law firm. This role will be situated in their London office but will be supporting several offices on all aspects of Risk, Regulatory Compliance and Conflicts.

As the successful Risk & Compliance Officer, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

1. Conducting CDD and reviewing KYC documentation
2. Undertaking AML and sanctions searches on clients
3. Ongoing monitoring and risk assessments
4. Reviewing firm policies and procedures, ensuring they're kept up-to-date
5. Assisting Risk Lawyers in preparation of annual audit files
6. Undertaking research and additional projects when needed
7. Assisting with onboarding new clients and matters

To be considered for this opportunity, you'll need to have/be the following:

1. Have a minimum of one years' experience working within LEGAL Risk & Compliance
2. Be educated to degree level
3. Be able to commit to a 12m FTC
4. Be able to commute into the London office 3 days a week
5. Have a high level of proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
