Childcare Practitioner roles across Blackpool and the Fylde!

Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to support teachers and inspire young minds?

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the classroom, providing support to both teachers and students to ensure a nurturing and productive learning environment. Roles are full time and part time with opportunities to go into permanent contracts with schools.

What You'll Do:

  1. Assist teachers with lesson preparation, including setting up materials and resources.
  2. Work with small groups of students to provide targeted support and guidance.
  3. Help students with their learning activities, providing encouragement and assistance as needed.
  4. Support students with special educational needs, adapting materials and activities to meet their individual needs.
  5. Assist with classroom management, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment for all students.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Passion for education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children.
  2. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  3. Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed.
  4. Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required.
  5. People with a background in care, support work or experience in PRU are encouraged to apply for the role.
