Our client, a market leading electronics company, is looking for a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This established company has seen an influx of new 18 month to two year projects and seeks a Senior Electronic Design Engineer on a permanent basis to aid in the specification, design, and completion of assigned electronics projects.

Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Role & Responsibilities

1. Manage multiple projects including new design and rework/modification
2. Efficiently work to deadlines and guarantee delivery on company deadlines
3. Varied role encompassing all aspects of hardware engineering including PCB schematics, layout design, microprocessors, circuit design, and test engineering
4. Exposure to firmware/embedded software would be beneficial
5. Liaise with other members of the engineering team and direct junior members of staff

Senior Electronic Design Engineer - Skills & Abilities

1. Degree qualified in Electrical & Electronic Engineering / Communication Engineering or equivalent
2. Proficient in the use of PCB schematic capture and layout software
3. Excellent analogue and digital circuit design
4. Knowledge of embedded processors and digital systems advantageous. VHDL experience preferred
