Based in the School of Health Sciences, University of Nottingham, this is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Advanced Clinical Practice programme team. We are seeking to recruit experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioners, registered to either the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), or the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), to help deliver our established Advanced Clinical Practice master's programme.
Working collaboratively with HEI colleagues, local NHS stakeholders, clinical providers, regulatory bodies, and wider advanced practice networks, you will help to build capability and sustainability for future advanced practice workforce needs.
You will undertake teaching and personal tutor roles within an established programme of ACP study, with a focus on the leadership and management, and research pillars of advanced practice. You will also hold module convenor roles and lead on curriculum development, enhancement, and quality assurance. You will plan and manage your own teaching and provide advice as a member of the programme team in a variety of settings including small group tutorials, clinical skills sessions, and lectures.
You will identify the learning needs of apprentices and students, to ensure that the content, methods of delivery, and learning materials meet the defined learning objectives of the programme.
The post is offered on a permanent, part-time basis of 0.6FTE - 0.8FTE (21.75 - 29 hours per week), to suit the requirements of the role holder in balancing their own advanced clinical practice alongside an academic post.
