Key Responsibilities
- Drive recruitment efforts, utilising job boards, building talent pools, headhunting, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn to meet recruitment KPIs
- Manage onboarding and compliance to ensure OFSTED regulatory standards are met
- Use your HR qualification or be supported to work towards one, with access to an external HR line for additional support
- Oversee compliance functions, including health and safety and GDPR, ensuring high standards are met
Who We're Looking For
Please do not apply unless you:
- Have internal recruitment experience within children’s homes (ideally) or care (at a minimum) – agency recruitment experience is a bonus but not a substitute
- Have experience onboarding staff into children’s homes (ideally) or care (at a minimum), with essential compliance knowledge of OFSTED and/or CQC regulations
- Live within a two-hour drive of either Manchester or Cheshire – applications outside this radius will not be considered
Qualities that will make you a great fit:

- Strong understanding of compliance and onboarding, with excellent attention to detail and familiarity with regulations and standards
- Some HR or operational experience, or the willingness to grow into these areas with provided support
The Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9–5
- Travel: Monthly meetings in Manchester and quarterly overnight stays in Plymouth
- Location: This is a remote role, but you must live within a two-hour drive of either Manchester or Cheshire
- Essential: A full UK driving licence and access to a car
