Job Description

Field Sales Executive – GLOBAL drinks brand

  • £30,000 - £36,000 Basic Salary
  • Bonus up to 20%
  • Company Car
  • Healthcare
  • Territory: Brighton
  • 12 Month FTC

Background:

This business really does have it all! Founded in 1987 in Europe, this brand has seen significant growth ever since then and now holds a market share of 38% in the soft drinks category. It is one of the top 10 FMCG brands in the UK.

The inspiration came from the APAC region where it became popular amongst workmen. In 1984, the popular product was then co-founded in Europe and has since become one of the most talked-about and consumed brands internationally.

Culturally, the team lives and breathes their brand, and you can feel the passion when they talk about their product. With sports events, sponsorships, and festivals, you’ll feel part of this great team and love coming to work every day.

Opportunity:

The business is well recognized within the On and Off-Trade market. The team has created a real buzz for the product - they now need someone to maintain and elevate the relationships they have built outside of London, creating growth opportunities.

This is not your average Field Sales Executive role; it’s about building the brand and creating lasting relationships with clients, ultimately helping to grow the business. This role will involve working within the On-Trade channel closely with clients from pubs, bars, and clubs.

You will be responsible for driving availability, building and maintaining customer relationships, executing in-store sales, and acting as an expert in your respective categories. You will also work with all internal and external stakeholders to bring our sales and marketing plans to life.

While this role carries significant responsibility, the right person will see this as an exciting chance to make a name for themselves in the industry, with opportunities for rapid career development.

You:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join an innovative, passionate, and well-known brand that truly values its employees.

We want someone who knows the market and shares their passion for the brand and the On-Trade environment.

These are the musts:

  • Proven sales/negotiation skills
  • A clear understanding of the On-Trade sales channel
  • Track record in achieving targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  • Commercial acumen, with the ability to utilize and understand category and financial insights
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Comfortable working autonomously and being out on the road; FMCG experience is an advantage but not essential
