Role Overview

The firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team, focusing primarily on probate matters. This role offers flexibility, welcoming applications for both permanent and locum positions, as well as full-time and part-time arrangements. The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload, providing practical and sensitive legal advice to clients navigating estate administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of probate and estate administration from instruction to completion.
• Advise clients on Wills, Inheritance Tax planning, and estate management.
• Draft legal documents, including Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Provide empathetic and professional guidance to clients during difficult times.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with strong experience in Private Client law, particularly probate and estate administration.
• A solid understanding of current legislation and tax implications for estates.
• Excellent client care skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload efficiently.
• STEP qualification or working towards it is desirable but not essential.
