Job Title: Unqualified Teaching Assistant

Location: England, Greater London, Mitcham

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £100 - £110 Per day

Job Duties:
  • Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering educational activities
  • Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials
  • Helping students with their work and providing feedback
  • Supervising students during lessons and breaks
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting the educational development of students
Education:
  • No formal teaching qualifications required
  • Training provided on the job
Experience:
  • No previous experience necessary, but some experience working with children is advantageous
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Basic understanding of classroom dynamics and student behaviour
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid training
