An established industry player is seeking a passionate MFL teacher to inspire students in a supportive environment. This role offers the chance to teach both French and Spanish, utilizing a Mastery curriculum that encourages deep exploration of language topics. With a focus on professional development and teacher wellbeing, this position is ideal for both early career teachers and experienced educators. Join a school that values high expectations and fosters a collaborative atmosphere, ensuring that you can make a meaningful impact on students' language learning journeys.
My client secondary school, located in Southwest Leicester, are looking for a qualified MFL teacher to join them as soon as possible for a long-term position (most likely the full academic year). The school are looking for an MFL teacher that can work five days a week, teaching a combination of French up to KS3 and Spanish to KS4. It is imperative that the recruited teacher has experience of teaching Spanish at KS4.
Academy leaders in this Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school have made vast improvements to the curriculum in the past few years, and you will be clear on what you need to teach. In your lessons, students will follow a Mastery curriculum, spending a whole half term on each topic area. This allows them to really explore and dig deep into the languages that they are learning and establish links between topics as they build their understanding through the years.
The academy provides you with a range of valuable subject and leadership training, supported by the wider Trust, and your colleagues speak highly of how they’ve benefitted from this, particularly early-career teachers. That, teamed with the consideration that leaders give to workload and wellbeing, make the academy an attractive place to work with high morale amongst the existing team.
This is an exciting temporary opportunity for a MFL ECT (early career teacher) or an experienced teacher to join a Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school.
