Job description

Your Opportunity

As a Warehouse Operative – Book Processer, you will be an integral part of our Book Processing team at EBSCO/Gobi Library Solutions. This role involves performing physical processing tasks according to customer specifications while ensuring high-quality standards. You will also assist with invoicing applicable product charges as required.

What You'll Do
  • Accurately read and follow customer physical processing requirements.
  • Scan barcode data into the system for spine label production.
  • Affix barcodes, security tags, spine labels, book labels, and library stamps.
  • Apply book covers to paperbacks and sleeves to hardbacks.
  • Ensure physical processing is carried out to the highest level of quality.
  • Assist in picking books for book processing workflows when required.
  • Support quality checks as needed.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties during peak periods, including invoicing and packing.
About You

Essential:

  • Good secondary education with strong numeracy and written skills.
  • Strong physical dexterity and coordination.
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to meet daily targets.
  • Proficient in keyboard and computer skills.
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, with the ability to understand and follow complex technical instructions.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in warehouse or book processing roles.
Pay Range

GBP £1.00 - GBP £1.00 /Hr.
