An established industry player is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants for a SEND school in Croydon. This full-time role involves supporting students aged 11-17 with Mild Learning Difficulties, including Autism. The ideal candidates will bring patience, energy, and a flexible approach to foster positive relationships with students. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of these students while working in a supportive environment. If you are passionate about education and eager to contribute to a rewarding experience, this position is perfect for you.
Horizon Teachers are working with a SEND School in the Croydon area that are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants to help cover with staff absences on a long-term, full-time basis starting as soon as possible, until the end of the academic year until July 2025.
The school caters for students aged 11 - 17 that have Mild Learning Difficulties, such as Autism and being non-verbal. As some of the students in this school have challenging behaviours, it would be desirable if you have previous experience supporting students with SEN needs, but this isn't essential.
Being a Learning Support Assistant within this school you will need to be patient, energetic and resilient in nature and be able to be flexible with a positive attitude to create a relationship with the students.
This will be a very rewarding role for the right person and will pay up to £575 per week.
