Freelance Internals Site Manager - 6 Months - £270/day

Company Overview:

Footprint Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for one of our key clients, a well-regarded regional contractor known for delivering high-quality construction projects across the North of England. We are seeking an experienced Freelance Internals Site Manager to join their team in Leeds for a 6-month contract.

Role Overview:

As the Internals Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the internal works on-site, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget. You will be managing all aspects of the internal construction process, including coordinating subcontractors, ensuring health and safety compliance, and liaising with project managers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the internal works on-site, including dry lining, ceilings, flooring, M&E, and finishes.
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and in line with project specifications.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines.
  • Monitor health and safety on-site and ensure all regulations are adhered to.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the senior management team.
  • Ensure that quality control measures are in place and upheld throughout the project.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, with a focus on internal works.
  • Experience working on commercial or residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate subcontractors.
  • CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications are preferred.
