Welder/Fabricator

Due to continued growth, a position has become available for an experienced welder to join a busy manufacturing/engineering company based near Oakham.

Responsibilities:

1. Mig welding
2. Set-up and layout jobs using engineering drawings, diagrams, and fixtures.
3. Carrying out welding operations in accordance with appropriate welding procedure specifications.
4. Use of grinders/sanders and general hand tools.
5. Requirement to do other fabrication work and associated tasks as required.

Person Specification:

1. Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
2. Competent in reading and understanding engineering drawings.
3. Able to use various hand tools whilst adhering to H&S procedures.
4. Attention to detail.
5. Good team player with the ability to communicate well with others.
6. Organised and able to prioritise workload to ensure products can be dispatched on time.

Hours and Pay:

Monday - Friday (Days)
Up to £14/hour DOE
Overtime available
