Role: Pharmacist (Clinical wards and Dispensary Cover)
Banding: Band 6 or 7
Location: Epsom
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Working Pattern: Full-time
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour break)
Rate: £23 – £34 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is looking for a committed and skilled Band 6 or 7 Pharmacist to enhance our team. This full-time position involves providing clinical wards and dispensary cover. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within the hospital. This role offers an excellent chance for a proficient professional to make a significant impact on our pharmacy services. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care through effective collaboration and teamwork.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards.
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Counsel patients on the proper use of their medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hospital experience as a pharmacist.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
