VF Executive Board Member – Fundraising & Digital Marketing (2025)- ProBono

Volunteers Foundation has successfully run educational and empowerment programs in Kenya for the last 15 years.

We invite you to join our dynamic Volunteers Foundation (VF) all-round pro-bono executive board to lead and organise innovative fundraising activities that empower the children of Kibera, Nairobi. In this role, you will drive digital marketing strategies, manage social media campaigns, and generate creative ideas to support our mission of transforming lives through education and community empowerment. You will also support and enhance existing initiatives. This position is for 2025, with the possibility to extend for another year.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, execute, and oversee fundraising campaigns and events.
2. Develop innovative ideas to engage donors and raise awareness about VF’s initiatives.
3. Digital Marketing & Social Media Management:
1. Create, schedule, and manage engaging posts across various social media platforms.
2. Develop digital content and marketing strategies to reach a broader audience.
3. Monitor and analyse campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
4. Work closely with the VF team to align digital marketing efforts with overall fundraising goals.
5. Lead brainstorming sessions and contribute creative solutions to maximize impact.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in digital marketing and experience with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
2. Strong planning and management skills for social media posts and digital campaigns.
3. Proven ability to generate innovative ideas and execute creative fundraising strategies.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Passion for social impact and commitment to transforming futures.
