We are seeking a passionate, data-driven, and results-oriented Events and Rewards Marketing Manager to lead the strategic development and deployment of best-in-class rewards programs and deal events to drive the growth of the Japan Books business.
This role provides a unique opportunity to develop strategy, set the roadmap, and then drive execution with cross-functional teams. You will be the strategic point of contact for our rewards and events marketing programs, partnering with business and operations teams. You will hold a high bar for the customer experience on our storefront and understanding the impact of our programs.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, and be able to identify unmet opportunities and develop solutions, in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Cross-team coordination, project management, executive communication, presentation and negotiation skills are required. This role is critical in executing strategic initiatives, providing exceptional customer experiences, and driving functional excellence and process improvement for our storefront. Candidates must be successful both as individual contributors and in a team setting. You have first-class written and verbal communication skills, and are comfortable negotiating with key business partners and global Amazon teams to gain alignment on marketing plans and ultimately manage all aspects of project execution. Candidates must be able to work with sensitive content, including culturally sensitive and adult content.
- 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese.
