Manual Software Tester

We are searching for a Manual Software Tester to join our client's team. This role is crucial in ensuring the qualification of in-house software products and third-party integrations as ‘fit for purpose.’ The position involves manual software testing with a focus on physical access control, transaction management, command/control, digital video, and intrusion detection.

Responsibilities

1. Identify and clearly record defects on a central database
2. Create, maintain, and follow test cases based on product specifications
3. Record ‘Test Runs’ to provide evidence of product maturity and test coverage
4. Create and maintain release notes and documentation related to the products being tested
5. Suggest and document product enhancements for future releases
6. Ability to interpret and follow product specifications to meet stakeholder expectations
7. Strong technical writing skills for clear and well-structured reports and documentation
8. Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
9. Comfortable working with hardware products, including wiring electronic interfaces
