  • Liaise with internal specialists, banks, solicitors, and other professional advisors.
  • Support the corporate tax compliance function, resolving technical queries.
  • Attend client meetings with relationship leads, offering expert guidance.
  • Monitor costs and manage billing, ensuring efficiency in service delivery.
  • Supervise, review, and delegate advisory work to develop junior team members.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • CTA qualification (or ATT/ACA with significant experience).
  • At least 4-5 years’ experience in corporate tax advisory or general tax, with a focus on corporate clients.
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax, capital allowances and key CGT reliefs.
  • Experience in technical tax report writing, with the ability to communicate complex tax matters clearly.
  • A client-centric approach, with strong relationship building and commercial awareness.
  • Confidence liaising with clients, HMRC and professional advisors.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed (a driving licence is preferred but not essential).
  • HMRC investigations and tax clearances.
  • Stamp Duty (SDLT) expertise.
  • Experience with corporate reorganisations and step plans.
