We are an employee-owned supported living organisation who specialise in providing bespoke packages of support to people with learning disabilities and complex needs who wish to live in the community in their own home. We support adults & young people with learning disabilities, Autism, physical disabilities, and positively respond to people’s behaviours.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with a wonderful young person who lives in their own home. They have Autism & Learning Disability and are supported to communicate their wishes & needs. They are Deaf and require their staff to be fluent in BSL. They like structure & routine in their day and enjoy a range of activities, such as visiting new places, going on walks, and going to the park. We need support staff who will work with the person for the long term to build trust & strong relationships with them. We need positive, loyal, committed staff who are fun & enjoy having a laugh and being a little silly to enrich their life.

We are recruiting a Full-Time Support Worker in Gateshead. This role requires a qualification of level 2 or above in BSL (British Sign Language) or a background that demonstrates fluency in BSL.

£14.20 per hour & £109 per sleep in - average annual salary £35,200 (based on 40 hours a week and 1 sleep a week). This role involves working weekends, evenings, and sleep ins.
