ABOUT THE ROLE
In the role of Pastry Demi Chef de Partie, your key focus will be to:
be passionate and committed about the preparation and service of Award Winning Afternoon Tea, pastries and desserts for Chez Roux Menu
ensure that the highest standards are maintained at all times
ensure that the kitchen areas designated, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy to the standards required by the Hotel
follow closely the recipe specifications to ensure consistency of pastry/desserts
ensure all mise-en-place is set up accordingly
ABOUT YOU
previous similar experience in a 5* luxury hotel, with medium to large banqueting and afternoon tea offering
knowledge of chocolate work and ideally an understanding of afternoon tea operation
good interpersonal and communication skills
ability to multi-task and work under pressure
excellent attention to detail
food safety training along with relevant culinary qualifications
