Part-Time Financial Controller - IT Consultancy - £75,000 FTE

A scaling IT Consultancy is seeking a driven and experienced Financial Controller to join their team part-time. As the sole-charge Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing their financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and profitability.

Your new role

  1. Manage the entire billing process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and collections.
  2. Monitor cash flow, forecast future trends, and implement strategies to optimise liquidity.
  3. Analyse expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to control costs effectively.
  4. Contribute to revenue growth by providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  5. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
  6. Develop and manage annual budgets, tracking performance against targets and making necessary adjustments.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and laws.

What you'll need to succeed
  1. ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  2. IT Consultancy experience is essential.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
  6. A solid understanding of financial principles and best practices.
