Van Driver Cat B, Redhill

Contract: 12 week temp then permanent contract

The Best Connection Employment Group are currently seeking temp to perm van drivers for one of our clients in Salfords. The successful candidates will possess a current and valid Cat B driver’s licence. This is a customer-facing role, with uniform provided and progression as an option. This role requires heavy lifting, and you will have the use of a sack-barrow and help of a driver’s mate.

Our client is nationally renowned for delivering quality kitchen appliances and service, looking for drivers to integrate within their tight-knit team.

Hours of Work:

1. Monday to Friday: 0730-17:00 but finish times may vary.
2. Saturday (One per month, of which will be a half day).

Responsibilities of the Van Drivers:

1. Delivery & fitting of kitchen appliances and white goods.
2. High levels of customer service to ensure goods are delivered and installed to customer specifications.
3. Driving the provided 3.5 tonne Luton van safely and adhering to the rules of the road.
4. Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle. Report any safety issues on standard reports.
5. Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives.
6. Follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Requirements of the CAT B Driver:

1. Full UK Category B Licence.
