We are excited to welcome new Bar Team Members to Old George. No prior experience is needed—we’ll provide all the training and support you need. We value team collaboration and are looking for individuals who enjoy working together and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

At Social Pub and Kitchen, we pride ourselves on being individually crafted and hero great experiences at any time of the day or night. We tailor to our diverse range of guests, and our teams create the perfect place to socialise with friends, whether that be for Bottomless Brunch, sport or to join us for a great night out. Each venue is different and has its own unique identity, and this is something we celebrate in our teams too. We need our team to engage confidently with our guests, have a passion for great beer, cocktails, and sport. If it’s live it’s on, and we are the place to watch it. Located in Newcastle upon Tyne city centre, The Old George Inn is a diverse pub and known to locals as a hidden gem. Set in a cobbled courtyard and established in 1582, the building oozes charm with its sash windows and beamed ceilings. Our guests come from all over to experience the nostalgia and history but mostly, to experience some of the delights that King Charles must have had in this great atmosphere, a pint, good food and some good conversation with some of the locals. We offer a range of great entertainment to suit a vast audience. We host Open Mic nights which are guaranteed to showcase some great live music from some of the best talent from around Newcastle. On the weekend, we have DJs bringing the party for our guests till late. We show live sport every day, with the full BT and Sky Sports packages for those early Saturday games and both 'Racing UK' and 'At The Races'.

To be considered for the Bar Team Member position at Old George you must be 18 or over as the role involves the sale of alcohol.
