Job Description
Key responsibilities of the Sales Account Manager include:
Identifying new opportunities to grow the company's channel business within an existing customer account base
Proactively follow up leads generated
Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
Work closely with the marketing team to achieve agreed objectives
Liaise effectively with all departments within the company to ensure that customer requirements are met
Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing best practice ideas
Providing quotations to clients
Working to targets and KPIs set
The Successful Applicant
The successful Sales Account Manager will have:
Previous experience working within a sales environment
IT/Telecoms industry experience is highly desirable
Excellent telephone skills
High degree of accuracy
Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload
Must be able to deal with technical product information
Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to persuade, influence, and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
