We are delighted to be partnering with this world-leading insurance company that is seeking a Development Underwriter within its highly successful Financial Lines team.

As Development Underwriter, you’ll be required to source new business opportunities within your region, underwriting Professional and Management risks within your defined underwriting authority. Specific duties will include:

Underwriting individual risks
Identifying and securing scheme opportunities
Attending networking events
Providing input to the Head of Financial Lines reporting on broker activity and new business production

It is essential that you have a successful track record of developing new business within the Financial Lines arena. We will consider candidates from a range of backgrounds such as Professional Indemnity, D&O / Management Liabilities, or Tech (PI). Ideally, you will have experience in a broker-facing role, although we will consider applications from New Business / Trading Underwriters who are ready to step into a broking-facing role. You will possess first-class communication and client-management skills.

You’ll be rewarded with an attractive basic salary (Negotiable, depending on experience), plus a market-leading bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits, which include substantial pension contributions.
