Year 1 Teacher | April 2024

Wayman Education is working with a caring and nurturing primary school based with an Outstanding Ofsted rating report in Kilburn, Camden. We are seeking an engaging and student-focused Year 1 teacher for April 2024. The children are keen learners, and the staff here strive to develop well-rounded, confident pupils through a supportive pastoral environment.

Responsibilities of a Year 1 teacher:

1. Plan and deliver engaging and effective classes to Year 1 students based on the National Curriculum.
2. Provide ongoing feedback and support to Year 1 students to encourage growth and development.
3. Create a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
5. Use data to inform teaching decisions and adapt instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
6. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on Year 1 student progress.
7. Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

Suitable Applicants Must Have:

5. Dedication to providing high-quality education to Year 1 students.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across various departments and schools.
7. Strong organizational and planning abilities.
