Transformation Programme Business Analyst

Location: London / Hybrid

Contract Duration: 6-month contract

This role is an integral part of that transformation programme. We are deploying market-leading technologies, including SAP SuccessFactors and Eightfold.ai, to deliver a seamless hiring experience. Our aim is to connect exceptional talent with the right opportunities, ensuring every hire makes an impact and secures the critical skills that will shape HSBC’s future.

This is a unique opportunity to ensure our recruitment CRM processes are designed and optimised to enable effective talent pipelining, user adoption, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with stakeholders in TA to design best-in-class solutions that support our global hiring strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders to identify business requirements and support the end-to-end process design from scenario and flow mapping through to prototyping, testing, and training.
  • Design and optimise recruitment CRM processes, ensuring they align with business needs and global best practices.
  • Leverage your expertise in Eightfold.ai and/or Avature CRM to drive system effectiveness and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with executive search and talent pipelining teams to build CRM solutions that enable long-term talent engagement.
  • Support the deployment and continuous improvement of our recruitment systems, working with technology and operational teams.
  • Develop process documentation, including SOPs, to ensure clarity and consistency across global teams.
  • Work as part of the transformation design team, influencing process improvements and technology enhancements.

What You Will Bring to the Role:

  • Extensive experience in recruitment/talent acquisition operations, ideally within a large or global organisation.
  • Strong expertise in Eightfold.ai CRM and/or Avature CRM, with a deep understanding of how these systems support talent acquisition.
  • Process design experience – you must be confident in designing and implementing recruitment workflows that drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • An understanding of executive search and talent pipelining, with the ability to build and refine CRM solutions for long-term talent engagement.
  • Experience in system deployment, user adoption strategies, process improvement, and documentation (SOPs).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with HR, recruitment, and technology teams to deliver impactful change.
  • Previous experience as a recruiter is a plus but not essential if you have significant operations and CRM experience in a recruitment environment.
  • Business analysis, process, and experience design skills across the lifecycle of technology implementation.
  • Understanding of agile and design thinking methodologies.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical details and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality documentation and design.
  • Motivated self-starter, curious to find better solutions and speak up.
