Job Title: Sub Assembly Technician for High Performance Automotive
Reporting to: HPA Assembly Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a Sub-Assembly Technician to support the rapid growth of our business and strengthen our busy build shop department.
Reporting to the build shop manager, you will be responsible for preparing and building gearbox sub-assemblies, carrying out pre delivery preparation and inspection as well as stripping down and preparing gearboxes prior to rebuild. The successful candidate will actively participate in daily process meetings and provide production feedback to the team leader. Daily machine and equipment maintenance are also duties the candidate will undertake. Tasks will also include using the IT system to complete build documentation, using the ERP system- Epicor.
About You
We are seeking an individual who has a mechanical assembly, engineering or garage background ideally having undertaken an apprenticeship or basic engineering training. Having knowledge of machinery including lathes, pillar drill, grinding etc. will be advantageous however, is not a must. Candidates will have hands-on experience and will have worked in a small team ideally in a pressured, unsupervised engineering environment. The role will require working with small parts therefore candidates must have good manual dexterity and the ability to learn new skills as well as solve problems.
