Marketing Manager – Customer Lifecycle

Location: Holborn, London, UK

What we’re looking for

Your role as the customer lifecycle marketing manager is to develop and execute the customer lifecycle marketing strategy that will drive customer engagement, satisfaction and revenue through the customer journey for Argus. You will be working as part of the global marketing team and in partnership with key stakeholders across Argus. You will develop the lifecycle roadmap and ensure appropriate lifecycle marketing programs are created, maintained, and enhanced, from onboarding through to growth and renewals.

What will you be doing

  1. Development & maintenance of the contact strategy including targeting & opportunity identification.
  2. Build & implement triggered lifecycle campaigns across early life, in-life and retention.
  3. Support the adoption of subscription product and service from Argus customers from activation and onboarding to driving a deeper awareness and usage of our products.
  4. Creating a range of programs to support adoption, such as user guides, training videos, webinars and email campaigns.
  5. Strong commercial acumen.
  6. Deliver an incremental improvement in customer retention.
  7. Create engagement campaigns to drive product usage and improve customer knowledge and value of their subscription(s).
  8. Curate marketing briefs for the various marketing support function to activate campaigns.
  9. Define clear KPI’s for Customer Lifecycle marketing.
  10. Articulate reporting / measurement requirements for inclusion in to the global marketing dashboards.
  11. Support customer success to run effective customer surveys and ensure these initiatives are fed back to the various business units i.e. NPS.
  12. Measurement, tracking & recommendations based on data input & communication output effectiveness.
  13. Gain knowledge of the various markets Argus operates in to best position the customer lifecycle marketing programs and Argus’s product and services.

Skills and Experience

  1. At least 3 years’ B2B digital marketing experience.
  2. Proven experience in implementing customer lifecycle marketing programs.
  3. Excellent verbal, written and numerical skills.
  4. Campaign planning and end-to-end project management experience.
  5. Experience in planning customer journeys across a range of scenarios and engagements.
  6. Experience of developing & delivering a contact strategy.
  7. Are naturally curious and are interested to learn about commodity markets and price reporting agencies, with a base-level knowledge of the markets that Argus serves.
  8. Have a proven record of developing innovative, high performing content marketing assets that effectively capture audience interest.
  9. Have a strong commercial background, understanding of demand generation principles and developing go-to-market strategies.
  10. Experience in using bespoke customer databases or CRM systems.
  11. You are able to continuously adapt to achieve strategic goals.
  12. Have a good attention-to-detail.
  13. Able to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization.
  14. Can build good relationships, working as part of a global team.
  15. High performing and results driven individual.
