Job description

Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., an “AV”-rated firm in downtown Norfolk, Virginia, is seeking to add a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team! Attention to detail is a must to succeed as a part of our team!

Position duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Work with a team and individually to perform legal support tasks as directed by supervisory staff
  2. Collaborate with other staff members on projects
  3. Open files
  4. Run database searches
  5. Data entry
  6. Draft letters
  7. Review and enter data accurately into several database systems

Job Requirements:

  1. Ability to multi-task
  2. Superior attention to detail
  3. Strong critical thinking skills
  4. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
  5. Semi-independent work standard
  6. Team-oriented attitude
  7. Able to identify problems and independently problem solve
  8. Strong computer knowledge
  9. Comply with firm and client compliance and timeline requirements

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework a plus
  2. Must be detail-oriented and demonstrate excellent computer and organizational skills
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  4. Previous mortgage servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, or law firm experience is a plus, but not required
  5. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
