Job description

Meta is seeking a Video Operations Producer to scale and grow Meta Video Productions (MVP) for The Production Group globally. This position is part of the Enterprise Engineering organization, so the candidate should have an in-depth understanding of technology, partnering, and have experience managing time-sensitive projects in a high-impact environment. The candidate needs to have a proven track record in video production operations or equivalent strategic video fields. Some global travel is expected.

Video Operations Producer Responsibilities
  1. Acts as service owner and executive producer and provides technical direction for the planning, scheduling, and delivery of video production assets.
  2. Applies significant knowledge of industry/company trends and developments to improve service to our partners.
  3. Directs and manages the work of video production vendors and Service Delivery Manager as well as any external partners.
  4. Actively manages partnerships and develops impactful business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Interprets, presents, and executes on operational data.
  6. Communicates effectively and strategically with company leadership, partners with other Video Operations Producers.
  7. Manages operational efficiency service-wide.
  8. Owns the technical support lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout support planning and delivery.
  9. Works closely with Enterprise Engineering Deployment and Design to ensure that studio/video standards, headcount, and equipment are provisioned for future studio builds.
  10. Communicates and enforces Meta standards, creating and defining new standards as technology and scope evolve.
  11. Manages technical resources within budget and schedule.
  12. Develops and motivates talent, creating standards and expectations for production.
  13. Consistently delivers high-quality, highly impactful projects.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of technical or creative video production experience or a combination of both.
  2. 5+ years of experience in equipment operation/understanding in a time-sensitive production environment.
  3. 5+ years of experience as a project manager, coordinating producer, production manager, or any other strategy or operations role.
  4. 3+ years of experience managing technical broadcast operations or in an advisory role.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Knowledge of short-form, long-form and supporting social media video formats.
