Your Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of Radio News Hub within your patch, building strong relationships and driving commercial success. You’ll work closely with media agencies & brands to expand our reach and maximise revenue opportunities. North & South UK opportunities available.
This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, strategic, and passionate about radio, media, podcasts and digital content. You’ll play a key role in spotting new opportunities, and ensuring Radio News Hub remains a top choice for agencies & advertisers in the UK and worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to increase market share and revenue growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with media agencies and brands.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the radio and digital audio landscape.
- Own your patch (North UK or South UK), ensuring regular engagement with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver creative and customised solutions for clients.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive activities, and market shifts to refine sales strategies.
- Provide regular reporting on sales performance, progress against targets, and growth opportunities.
- Work closely with the commercial director, editorial, and production teams to align sales efforts with content strategy.

- A proactive and strategic approach to sales and business development.
- Understanding of the UK media marketplace and the role of audio & digital channels.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams.
