Global Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Worcester, UK

Salary: £200,000 per annum (negotiable), executive-level car, bonus and equity-based long-term incentive plan.

Your Role as Global CFO:

This role is a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of a fast-growing, international organisation. The Global CFO will report directly to the CEO and act as a strategic thought partner to the Board, driving financial excellence and business strategy. The role includes occasional international travel to collaborate with the Board of Executives, ensuring the company remains on target to meet its ambitious growth expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a financial strategy that drives the company’s ambitious growth and profitability goals.
• Financial Planning & Analysis: Create robust budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes that build credibility and support transparency.
• Corporate Finance & M&A: Lead acquisition strategies, due diligence, integration, and readiness for private equity transactions or exits.
• Finance Transformation: Build and lead a scalable finance operating model that can meet the demands of rapid global expansion.
• Risk Management: Establish an Enterprise Risk Management framework to mitigate financial risks and safeguard global operations.
• Operational Support: Collaborate with the Executive Bench to drive resource allocation and commercial efficiency while shaping overall business strategy.

Requirements

• Experience as a CFO ideally within a construction industry would be advantageous
• Proven senior financial leadership experience, ideally in high-growth or sales-driven multinational organisations.
• Expertise in M&A transactions, corporate finance, and private equity.
• A strategic, visionary mindset with a strong appetite for innovation and growth.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills to inspire followership and drive operational transformation.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support global operations and Board-level collaboration.
