Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and experienced social housing plumber to join our team on a short-term contract basis in Houghton le Spring. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of residents by providing essential plumbing services and repairs.

Responsibilities:

1. Repairing and replacing pipes and fixtures.
2. Troubleshooting and resolving plumbing issues.
3. Installing and maintaining water heaters, boilers, and other appliances.
4. Responding to emergency calls for plumbing repairs.
5. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
7. Work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and collaborating with colleagues.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a plumber, ideally within the social housing sector.
2. Valid CSCS card.
3. Strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations.
4. Proficiency in using various plumbing tools and equipment.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. A reliable and hardworking attitude.
7. A commitment to providing high-quality customer service.
8. Full UK driving licence and own transport.
