Job description

Ready to further your Childcare career? Looking for that job security in unprecedented times? Are you the person our settings are seeking?

Bright Kids was established in 1999 and since has been delivering high quality childcare. We are currently in search of motivated, happy, enthusiastic individuals who can bring passion, creativity, laughter and learning into our beautiful authentic homely environments across the West Midlands to support our wonderful little Einstein’s.

We are seeking candidates who are Level 3 (or above!) qualified in Early Years (newly qualified applicants are welcome) on a permanent, full-time basis for our setting in Barley Lea, Coventry.

As a Nursery Nurse/Practitioner your main responsibility will be supporting the development of the children within the provision by providing an excellent range of activities in a stimulating environment covering the EYFS curriculum.

The Bright Kids brand prides itself on the training, support, and progression it offers its employees. Working with us, you can expect to receive high-quality, up-to-date training from our in-house, sister company, MBK Group. This training is not only the basic required (e.g. Paediatric First Aid) but also training that will broaden your knowledge (e.g. Preparing for your EIF Inspection / Let them Loose with Natural Materials). Alongside our training, you will also have access to a Health Cash Plan scheme, the opportunity for flexible working, bonuses throughout the year and subsidised childcare.

Please note that this position is full-time on a rotating shift pattern between 7.30am-6.00pm but part time and flexible working pattern options are available.

Salary: Up to £12.55 per hour. Subject to age, experience and qualification held.

Benefits include: Health Cash Plan, Bonuses, Uniform, Company Pension, Flexible Working, Subsidised Childcare. Additional Birthday Holiday after 1 year and further long-service holiday entitlements available.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to commencement.

Safeguarding Statement:

Barley Lea Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to understand and share this commitment. We have a shared commitment to develop a culture of respect, where discrimination is not tolerated. We welcome all applications, including those from under-represented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion.
