Job Description:

We have opportunities for Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineers to join our Geo-environment team working in contaminated land, site investigation and brownfield redevelopment across a variety of market sectors including property & regeneration, defence estates and transport. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to become part of the team with the opportunity to progress their career across a range of exciting projects.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate that they have a genuine interest in this field and ideally have some limited work experience such as a work placement role.

  1. Assisting with the design, procurement, supervision and management of geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations.
  2. Accurate collection and analysis of site data.
  3. Undertaking ground gas & groundwater monitoring works and assessment.

Qualifications/Skills:

  1. You will have a minimum 2:1 degree in geology, engineering geology, environmental science or related subject.
  2. The enthusiasm and determination to learn and progress within the fields of contaminated land, site investigation, brownfield redevelopment and geotechnical engineering.
  3. You will be familiar with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to create, manage and analyse information.
  4. Commitment to studying towards professional qualification.
  5. Strong analytical, written, communication and presentation skills.
  6. Preferable to have relevant work experience e.g. a work placement.
  7. Excellent teamwork skills.
  8. Full Driving Licence and ideally access to a vehicle.
