Data Privacy Coordinator

We are currently looking for a Data Privacy Coordinator to join our busy team in a remote setting across the UK, with occasional travel to college sites.

As a Data Privacy Coordinator, you will be instrumental in providing data protection coordination services to our network. This includes supporting subject access requests (SAR) and data subject rights under GDPR/DPA, investigating data incidents, managing the data privacy SharePoint website, and conducting data mapping reviews. You'll also produce impactful communications to raise awareness of data protection matters while establishing yourself as the subject matter expert on our Trust Arc Privacy Management platform. Your proactive approach will ensure that our data privacy policies are upheld and continuously improved.

Hours of Work:

Full-time, Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm

Salary:

Up to £36,000 per annum

Data Privacy Coordinator Requirements:

1. Undergraduate degree level qualifications, or possesses relevant sector qualifications/training
2. Subject matter expertise in Data Privacy & Protection
3. Proficient and confident using new IT systems and multiple applications
4. Strong stakeholder engagement skills. Polished and effective communication skills with the ability to build consensus in a large and complex environment.
5. Prior experience working with data protection/privacy principles and regulations
6. Data analytics skills/background
7. A professional and collegial working manner
8. Highly organised
9. Strong stakeholder engagement skills
10. Track record in writing effective written communications
