We’re looking to bring in a Warehouse operative/FLT driver on the day shift, rotating 4 on 4 off days 0600-1800, for our new contract in Leicestershire. Based at their production facility, you’ll be responsible for picking and loading a factory fed warehouse operation.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £12.97 per hr with a 1.25% increase for any overtime. In addition, we offer 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

1. Handling and putting away palletised goods
2. Stacking and handling palletised goods onto trailers
3. Driving on-site loading efficiency and looking at ways we can improve
4. Putting pallets into the line feeder for production

What you need to succeed at XPO:

1. A track record of operating an FLT truck
2. A focus on health and safety
3. Experience within Warehousing would be beneficial
4. Counterbalance license B1
5. Minimum of 2 years counterbalance experience
6. Preferred but not essential experience with double handling; training will be given
7. Preferred but not essential experience in bulk stacking; training will be given
