JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you a Band 6/7 Acute Medical Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

Job Title: Acute Medical Occupational Therapist (Band 6/7)

Location: London

Duration: Ongoing contract

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £31 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Conduct comprehensive functional assessments in an acute setting
  2. Develop and implement patient-centred rehabilitation plans
  3. Facilitate safe and timely hospital discharges
  4. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, and discharge coordinators
  5. Provide mobility and equipment assessments
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements & Qualifications:

  1. HCPC registration
  2. Experience working in an acute medical setting
  3. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
