Location: Sheffield, UK

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PMO Analyst to join a leading banking client on an initial 6-month contract. This role is inside IR35 and requires proven experience within the financial services sector. Based in Sheffield, you will play a critical role in supporting project delivery and governance across a portfolio of high-impact financial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive PMO support, including planning, reporting, and governance activities.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor project progress, tracking key metrics and highlighting risks or issues.
  • Assist in resource planning, budget tracking, and financial forecasting.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas and capturing key actions and decisions.
  • Support senior stakeholders with accurate data insights and reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO function.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a PMO Analyst within the financial services sector.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and MS Office suite.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
