Project Engineer

Project Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke components within the automotive industry, based in the Nottingham area. They are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering projects in line with timescales and budgets
• Maintaining a point of contact with customers and offering technical support
• Estimating project timescales and resource requirements
• Leading the build of prototypes
• Problem solving with tools such as 8D
• Producing 2D CAD drawings
• Running project meetings to liaise on project milestones
• Producing design solutions with the CAD team for fixtures and tooling
• Understanding of advanced product quality planning
• Previous background within project engineering
• Previous experience with 2D / 3D CAD, ideally Catia
• Understanding of GD&T principles
• Knowledge of Press Tooling is desirable
• Full UK Driving License

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary £30,000 - £42,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week. Flexible start & finish times.
