General Manager - Boutique Hotel & Restaurant - £50,000


We are recruiting an experienced General Manager to lead the operations of a beautifully designed boutique hotel with an exciting new restaurant opening soon. This is a fantastic opportunity to take charge of a stylish, design-led property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and strong commercial performance.


The Role

As General Manager, you will oversee the hotel's daily operations, lead a dedicated team, and manage the successful launch of the new restaurant. Your leadership will be key in maintaining high hospitality standards while driving financial success.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel and restaurant.
  2. Lead and motivate a team to deliver exceptional guest service.
  3. Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control.
  4. Work closely on the restaurant launch and ongoing management.
  5. Maintain high standards across all areas of hospitality and food & beverage.
  6. Handle bookings, reservations, and front-of-house operations.
  7. Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive bookings.
  8. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

What We're Looking For

  1. Proven experience in a General Manager, Hotel Manager, or F&B Manager role.
  2. Strong background in both hotel and restaurant operations.
  3. Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  4. Strong leadership and people management skills.
  5. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and P&L management.
  6. Hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
