Job description

Quality Controller - Pontefract

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (with occasional flexibility to stay until end of production)

We are committed to delivering top-tier products, and we need a dedicated Quality Control Operative to uphold our standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct hourly checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods.
  2. Perform label checks to ensure accuracy.
  3. Monitor and record air temperatures.
  4. Calibrate scales and probes.
  5. Collect samples for laboratory analysis.
  6. Conduct equine testing.
  7. Carry out audits such as black bag audits, with tasks adapted as required.

Requirements:
  1. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  2. Basic HACCP knowledge
  3. Basic PC skills
  4. Health & Safety Awareness
  5. Additional relevant training would be beneficial
