Office Manager & HR Coordinator Opportunity in Southwark, London!

Are you an organised and enthusiastic individual? Do you enjoy creating a seamless office experience? Our client, a renowned organisation in the travel and hospitality industry, is seeking a talented Office Manager & HR Coordinator to join their team on a temp basis with potential to go permanent.

As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of their central office. From maintaining the office facilities to coordinating deliveries and overseeing health & safety compliance, you will play a crucial role in keeping everything running like clockwork.

Additionally, you will provide support to the Human Resources department, assisting with onboarding/offboarding, recruitment coordination, and employee welfare initiatives. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging work environment.

Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing in this exciting role:

  1. Being the first point of contact for candidates, visitors, and contractors, providing excellent customer service and assistance.
  2. Maintaining and managing the office amenities and facilities, ensuring accessibility for all employees and guests.
  3. Coordinating office-related queries, providing accurate and timely responses.
  4. Building strong relationships with external suppliers and contractors, ensuring the office is well-stocked and maintained.
  5. Assisting with recruitment processes, including job postings and interview scheduling.
  6. Managing employee records, conducting background checks, and ensuring compliance with policies.
  7. Supporting HR initiatives and programmes aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.

To thrive in this role, you'll need excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach, and strong attention to detail. Prior experience in office management and HR coordination will be highly beneficial.

The office is conveniently located just a short walk from Borough train station, and you'll be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Pay/Salary: £16ph - £17ph (perm salary will be £34,700)
